Seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a 13-week assignment in Concord, North Carolina.

About the Job

This opportunity offers a competitive salary of $2017.80 - $2120.40 per week, with a tax-free stipend to be determined. The successful candidate will work 36 hours per week, 12 hours at a time, on day shifts.

We are looking for a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at CrossMed Allied. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures to obtain diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Current certification in MRI technology and state licensure (as required).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and physicians.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift equipment, and move patients as needed.
