Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Floor & Decor. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and contributing to a fast-paced and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Connect with customers, ask about their projects, and recommend our products to exceed customer expectations.
  • Provide above-and-beyond customer service and maintain a clean and shoppable sales floor.
  • Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Process customers at checkout, handle refunds and exchanges, and follow established cash, check, and credit card acceptance procedures.
  • Contribute to a safe and secure work environment for our associates, customers, and Company property.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Knowledge of basic math skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
Working Conditions:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
Physical/Sensory Requirements:
  • Ability to exert pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
