Post-Operative Intensive Care Nurse Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Post-Operative Intensive Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at All Medical Personnel. As a key member of our healthcare staffing agency, this individual will provide exceptional care to patients recovering from surgery in a post-operative setting.
About the Role
- Assess and monitor patients' vital signs, administering medication as needed for pain management and nausea control.
- Provide comprehensive patient education to family members, ensuring they are informed about the patient's condition and treatment plan.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of surgical sites for potential bleeding or other complications.
- Document all findings and updates in patient files.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in acute clinical care nursing, preferably in post-operative settings.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- A valid state nursing license is essential.
