MedStar Health is seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist I to perform a full range of diagnostic radiographic examinations in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine, emergency room trauma, operating room procedures, lithotripsy, portables, and fluoroscopy examinations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards for obtaining radiographic studies, including correct exam performance and patient tracking.
- Assist with equipment upkeep and maintenance, ensuring timely completion of exams through efficient workflow management.
- Operate digital and fluoroscopic radiographic equipment, participating in ongoing training and education opportunities.
- Coordinate with Patient Financial Associates to minimize delays and ensure smooth registration processes.
- 1-2 years of hospital-based experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of radiographic theory and techniques, as well as specialized and complex radiographic procedures.
