Bakery Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Clerk to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and presentation of baked goods, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of baked goods, including decorating and packaging
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the bakery area and surrounding areas
• Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and scales
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping and mopping floors

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
