Position Summary

To provide high-quality patient care to Middlesex Health patients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Practices evidence-based medicine and responds to patient evaluations in a timely manner.
  2. Meets Hospital Quality Alliance National Reported Measures and addresses all issues appropriately on a daily basis.
  3. Communicates effectively with Primary Care Physicians, Nurses, Case Management staff, and peers.
  4. Completes detailed daily progress notes and documentation of family meetings and discussions.
  5. Acts as an effective preceptor and role model for residents and adheres to all Core Values.
  6. Adheres to all Absolutes, including Privacy and Confidentiality, Professional Appearance, and Responsibility and Commitment.
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. licensed in the state of Connecticut.
  • Medical staff privileges at Middlesex Hospital as a Hospitalist.
  • Board certification (or eligibility within two years of employment) in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine.
