OVERVIEW

The Sales Process Optimization Specialist is responsible for enhancing the overall productivity and effectiveness of sales operations through the utilization of ERP and CRM systems. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires collaboration across multiple departments to ensure alignment on sales strategies and objectives. Familiarity with ERP and CRM platforms, particularly SAP, is advantageous. Experience in onboarding new clients, managing sales territories, and handling pricing and margins is expected.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To excel in this position, the individual must effectively manage the following duties:

1. Support the management of sales tools and processes within Pfeiffer Vacuum's technology systems, including CRM Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and ERP System.
2. Oversee ERP data management and reporting, ensuring seamless communication between CRM and ERP systems.
3. Facilitate ERP training and provide sales support to team members.
4. Align the quoting process with the ERP platform, including custom pricing configurations.
5. Assist in the onboarding process for new clients through the CRM and ERP systems.
6. Maintain and update sales territory mapping as needed.
7. Support pricing updates and requests within the ERP system.
8. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Customer Care, Market Managers, Product Managers, Service, Finance, and Logistics to promote streamlined and effective processes.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands of this role include walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and mobility, with the ability to lift 10-20 pounds. Proficiency in computer skills (including word processing, CRM, and data entry) is required, along with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with colleagues.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

1. A 2–4-year degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Prior experience with CRM and ERP platforms.
3. A solid understanding of sales processes, with preferred experience in customer onboarding, territory management, pricing, and margins.

SKILLS

1. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
2. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
3. Proficient in basic mathematical calculations.
4. Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position may be performed in various settings, including office and remote environments. Employees working from home are expected to adhere to company policies regarding work hours and attendance at meetings.
