About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Southwest General Health Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education to patients and families in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
- Previous experience in emergency nursing or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Current certification in CPR, BLS, and ACLS is required.
