Neurologist Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Neurologist to join our team at Ridgeview Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating disorders and diseases of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.

• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care to patients with epilepsy as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical history reviews, examinations, and appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, which may include medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other specialists when necessary.
• Perform bronchoscopy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care and optimal patient outcomes.

• Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency training program and Board Certified or Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
• Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in performing bronchoscopy.
• Experience in ordering and interpreting imaging.
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence.
