Role Overview:
The Cardiovascular Laboratory Specialist plays a crucial role in our facilities, conducting tests related to heart health. Under the guidance of the Cath Lab Supervisor and the CV Services Director, you will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to assist in both diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize data for performance improvement and outcome analysis.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Cath Lab Supervisor or CV Services Director to ensure departmental efficiency.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, responding promptly when required.
Qualifications:
A graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program is preferred. Alternatively, two years of relevant experience in a Cath Lab may substitute for formal education. New graduates must obtain credentials within one year of eligibility.
