Key Responsibilities

Role Summary: This entry-level position (0-4 years of experience) focuses on the design and specification of decentralized wastewater treatment systems.

Main Duties:

  • Develops both conceptual and detailed designs for decentralized wastewater systems, encompassing drainfield design and biological treatment processes.
  • Creates CAD drawings for site layouts, assembly processes, and detailed arrangement plans to support the CAD team. Collaborates closely with internal sales teams to ensure designs align with product capabilities and sales objectives.
  • Facilitates communication of technical details across various departments, including Sales, Engineering, and Marketing. Establishes standard design methodologies for current and future technologies.
  • Writes both technical and non-technical articles for publication in industry-related media and prepares tailored technical presentations for clients as necessary.
  • May engage in research and development of innovative technologies and provide on-site support for construction demonstrations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering with a focus on wastewater treatment.
  • Demonstrates high motivation, initiative, and possesses exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred, with a pathway towards Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
