Neuropathology Specialist

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a talented Neuropathology Specialist to become an integral part of our expanding team. This represents an opportunity to join a well-established group comprising eight dedicated Pathologists, including one other Neuropathology Specialist, and four PhD laboratory directors at one of the nation's best free-standing children's hospitals.

Our Laboratories for cytogenetics, microbiology, and electron microscopy, as well as our fetal and other specialty pediatric pathology services, are the only ones of their kind among area hospitals and serve as regional referral centers. The department has a Pediatric Pathology fellowship program which provides exceptional training. Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University is available and commensurate with experience.

Requirements include board certification in Neuropathology and Anatomic Pathology; additional training in Clinical Pathology and/or Pediatric Pathology is a plus.
