Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication problems and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to residents, focusing on improving communication skills, cognitive function, and overall quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and therapy plans.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.
Requirements
  • M.A. or M.S. Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school.
  • New York State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
