Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication problems and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to residents, focusing on improving communication skills, cognitive function, and overall quality of life.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and therapy plans.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.
- M.A. or M.S. Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school.
- New York State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- A competitive salary of $49.95 per hour.
