Drafting Specialist

The Drafter is a key member of our team, responsible for completing assigned drafting projects with precision and attention to detail. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

• Technical Proficiency: Operate computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD, and other relevant programs such as Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF.
• Research and Development: Conduct regular research to stay up-to-date on code-related items, including DAPIA building requirements.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with multiple departments, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
• Project Management: Manage assigned projects and tasks, prioritizing deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
• Physical Demands: Work in a normal office environment, with frequent sitting, occasional walking, and standing.

• Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Math Skills: Possess basic math skills, including working with fractions.
• Computer Skills: Have basic computer skills and keyboard typing abilities.
• Communication: Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with bilingual abilities a plus.
