Job Title: EVS Aide

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated EVS Aide to join our team at Aerotek. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms, including bathrooms, and will receive training on proper floor care techniques such as stripping, buffing, and waxing. You will also be responsible for taking out trash, cleaning linen, mopping floors, and doing laundry. This position requires working closely with nurses in a hospital setting and handling bodily fluids such as blood, urine, and vomit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, including bathrooms
  • Perform floor care tasks such as stripping, buffing, and waxing
  • Take out trash and recyclables
  • Clean and maintain linen and laundry
  • Maintain common areas such as lobbies, elevators, and hallways

Requirements:

  • Proper floor care techniques
  • Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms
  • Laundry management

  • Spill management
