Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instructional and behavioral support to individual students as directed by the educational staff.
- Assist special education teachers in preparing materials, implementing IEPs, collecting data, and monitoring student progress.
- Administer medications in accordance with district policies and health guidelines.
- Supervise students during meal times, breaks, and while boarding transportation.
- Support students with personal care needs, including assistance with hygiene, feeding, and mobility.

Qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: Preferably one year of relevant experience in a K-12 educational setting.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; adept at working with students with diverse disabilities.
- Certifications: CPI, CPR, and First Aid certifications are highly recommended, with training provided by the district.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Regularly required to communicate, observe, stand, walk, sit, and utilize hands.
- Must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds with assistance.
- Potential exposure to outdoor weather conditions and varying noise levels.
- May encounter physical risks such as minor injuries; protective equipment is provided.
