About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital – Springfield. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission to serve our community.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nurses.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
  • IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
