Overview:
Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitalization is a post-acute care unit for short stay patients that require 24-hour medical care while receiving 3 hours of intense Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. Our average length of stay is 7-12 days/Nights. We rehabilitate patients with many diagnoses such as Stroke, Amputation, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Orthopedic injuries, and Spinal Cord Injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to achieve patient goals
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
