Extrusion Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Technician to join our team at Aleron. As an Extrusion Technician, you will be responsible for the cleaning, assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of extrusion and ancillary equipment. You will also be responsible for the extrusion of tubing to desired specifications, operation of extrusion and ancillary equipment, documenting of process parameters, debugging and modifying of tooling, and ability to read basic CAD drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning, assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of extrusion and ancillary equipment
• Extrusion of tubing to desired specifications
• Operation of extrusion and ancillary equipment
• Documenting of process parameters
• Debugging and modifying of tooling
• Ability to read basic CAD drawings

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• At least 1 year of experience of tooling design
• At least 1 year of experience with ISO requirements
• At least 1 year of experience reading CAD drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience extruding precision tubing preferred
• Experience with multi-lumen, bump tubing or other specialized processes preferred
• Familiarity with extrusion equipment, plastics, resins and related techniques
