Territory Supervisor Job Description

The Territory Supervisor is a part-time position responsible for supervising a group of Retail Merchandisers within a specific geography. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to ensure well-maintained card departments and timely execution of everyday and seasonal programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of Retail Merchandisers, ensuring high-quality execution of programs and maintaining strong retailer relationships.
  • Document and manage performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Handle retailer concerns, retail execution issues, and retail merchandiser performance issues by working with store management, retail merchandisers, and/or your manager.
  • Prepare, direct, and follow-up on minor installations, including resetting product, building fixtures, and merchandising product.
  • Lead or participate in major installations when business exceptions require additional support.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and management skills to inspire, empower, and inform your team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve conflicts at store level and within your team.
  • Ability to motivate a group of individuals in person and from a distance, follow through on commitments, and lead by example in the implementation of company best practices.
  • Flexibility to work a changing work schedule that may include occasional evenings or weekends.
  • Reliable transportation to report to assigned locations as scheduled.

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will be working on the selling floor as well as in back stockrooms. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion.

The hourly pay for this position is between $20.50.
