Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Best Western Plus. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to meet established standards of cleanliness and propriety.
• Room Preparation: Set up cleaning carts with supplies, maintain carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion, and restock room amenities.
• Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean and sanitize all surfaces, fixtures, and equipment in guest rooms and public areas, including bathrooms and hallways.
• Guest Room Maintenance: Strip and remake beds, dust and polish furniture and fixtures, and vacuum all hard floor areas.
• Inspections and Reporting: Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our standards, and report any issues or concerns to management.

• Education and Experience: Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms over head, bend, and stoop to perform cleaning tasks, and lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates.
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
