Key Responsibilities:

  • Master and uphold the general instructions for your designated post and shift, becoming the authority on all operational aspects.

  • Stay informed about all additional and emergency instructions as required by the client.
  • Adhere to access control protocols established by management for all visitors and vendors.
  • Effectively operate access control systems, visitor management systems, and CCTV systems as necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and document events with accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Report any property damage and special occurrences promptly.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and public relations interactions, maintaining an impeccable image to exceed client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: Minimum age of 21 years. High school diploma or GED required. Proven stable work history. Proficiency in computer usage and software retention is essential.
  • Certifications and Screenings: Must possess a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or be willing to apply for one. Completion of a 20-hour training certificate within the first 30 days of employment is required. All candidates must undergo a pre-employment screening process, including a background investigation. Additionally, this role requires the ability to obtain a 40-hour firearms training certificate, FOID card, and necessary equipment.
  • Personal Attributes: A mature demeanor, personality, and attitude are crucial for success. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Fluency in English is required; bilingual candidates are a plus. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards, including no visible tattoos that cannot be covered by a short-sleeve shirt. Exceptional customer service and public relations skills are essential, along with the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Must have reliable communication and transportation.
  • Physical Requirements: Duties may include lifting, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs; standing or sitting for extended periods; and patrolling premises as needed, regardless of weather conditions.
