Crime Intelligence Analyst

The City of Corona is seeking a skilled Crime and Intelligence Analyst to join our Police Department. As a key member of our team, you will utilize advanced analytical techniques and tools to support crime prevention and investigation efforts.

This position requires a strong understanding of law enforcement principles, statistical analysis, and data interpretation. You will work closely with police officers, detectives, and management to provide critical insights and recommendations for improving public safety.

• Analyze crime patterns and trends using various data sources and software applications.
• Develop and maintain complex databases and reports to support law enforcement efforts.
• Collaborate with police personnel to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Two years of increasingly responsible experience in crime analysis or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of law enforcement practices, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ArcGIS software applications.

The City of Corona offers an attractive compensation package, including a salary range of $68,676.00 - $83,484.00 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
