About the Role:

The Strategic Finance Director will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial future. Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership position will oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategy development. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in finance, logistics, and transportation, with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making, leveraging financial expertise to inform business choices.
  • Analyze market data and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective pricing models to maximize revenue and competitiveness.
  • Present complex financial information to senior stakeholders, including board members and investors, in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Foster a culture of high performance within the finance team, promoting continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certification (such as CFA, CPA) is highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the Logistics and Transportation industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, with a strong understanding of pricing strategies and market trends.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing high-performing finance teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial software systems.

What We Offer:
