Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled ERC Mechanic Helper to join our team of experienced professionals. This role will play a crucial part in developing our ERC facility into a world-class engine rebuild center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient procedures for disassembling natural gas and other types of engines.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to determine salvage and reusability guidelines for engine components.
  • Focus on continuous improvement in quality, reliability, velocity, and efficiency.
  • Document all processes and procedures for future use, training, and software input.
  • Provide input on quality and reliability through Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or other systems.
  • Assist with engineering support, including design of cleaning racks, tool benches, equipment carts, dyno carts, and parts delivery methods.
  • Perform cost/benefit analysis on available reman opportunities.
  • Assist in determining process parameters, including cleaning processes, component life, and contamination control measures.
  • Evaluate available technologies for useful applications in our operation.
  • Determine best-in-class practices for the industry and engine rebuilding.
Requirements:
  • Preferred candidate will have an engineering degree, technology engineering degree, or a combination of education and experience acceptable to the company.
