We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally to ensure questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform all required safety checks, including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Report all safety issues and/or repairs required to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle.
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and verify delivery of items with customers.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required and load customer returns onto the trailer.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL-A license and a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test and attain or have a valid current DOT Health Card.
  • Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
