Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center. Under the supervision of Rehab Services Coordinator or licensed occupational therapist, you will complete designated structured/standardized evaluation/re-eval tasks, conduct general activity programs, and assist in planning and implementing treatment programs for individuals limited by psychosocial dysfunction. You will utilize knowledge appropriate to the patient(s) age to ensure that care provided meets the unique, physical and psychosocial needs of the patients. You must possess strong interpersonal, task analysis and clinical reasoning skills, creativity, innovation, professional development and autonomy

Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Less than 2 years 18 months preferred. Psychosocial practice background preferred, but would consider related experience.
  • CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
  • L - Occupational Therapist Assistant (Maryland)
  • initial COTA certification by AOTCB or NBCOT
