Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including forklifts, container stackers, and personnel lifts.
- Facilities Maintenance: Maintain and repair facilities, buildings, parking areas, and landscape.
- Work Order Management: Coordinate the work order process and workflow optimization to ensure timely execution.
- Inventory Management: Maintain the EAM database of new purchased equipment, existing equipment, and PM schedules.
- Tool Calibration: Facilitate factory tool calibrations and maintain all tool calibration requirements.
- Supply Chain Management: Create requisitions in SAP for tools, equipment, new parts, instruments, and supplies.
- Team Management: Allocate team members to support timely execution on work orders.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test shop equipment and new and repaired instruments to verify dimensions of parts and for conformance to quality control standards.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track process indicators and spare parts/labor consumption and equipment performance.
- Communication: Be the first line of communication with equipment suppliers for quotes, orders, and support for troubleshooting equipment.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Skills: Strong natural ability to work in teams, ability to schedule and self-manage tasking timetables, high degree of adaptability and flexibility, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of a manufacturing plant, chemical plant, or refinery maintenance, experience with repairs and maintenance of processing equipment, and ability to read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints and symbols.
- Competitive Salary: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour.
