Key Responsibilities:
The Rehabilitation Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care during after-hours, weekends, and holidays, or when senior management is unavailable. Key duties include:
- Conducting assessments across all departments to ensure continuity of care and reporting critical information to management.
- Effectively communicating any unusual occurrences or patient complaints for prompt resolution.
- Overseeing nursing staff to ensure optimal patient safety and adherence to care protocols.
- Monitoring documentation practices to ensure compliance with medical necessity and care plans.
- Evaluating risk and quality indicators, patient satisfaction metrics, and outcomes to enhance performance.
- Facilitating education and training for nursing staff on Quality Indicators (QIs) and ensuring timely assessments.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program with current licensure in the state.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong planning, coordination, evaluation, and direction skills for clinical personnel, along with effective communication abilities in English (additional languages preferred) and proficiency in basic computer skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
