Position Overview: As a vital member of the Lima Memorial Health System, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will engage in clinical responsibilities that support the daily functions of the physician's office.

- Administer medications and assist with specialized procedures.
- Provide guidance to patients and their families regarding care.
- Review and maintain comprehensive patient records.
Educational Requirements: Candidates must have graduated from an accredited nursing program or completed a recognized Medical Assistant curriculum.
Licensure and Certification: A valid, unrestricted LPN license for the State of Ohio or certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited national examination body is mandatory. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
Experience: A preference for candidates with one to three years of experience in a physician's office or hospital environment.
Essential Skills: The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service abilities, demonstrate patience and tact, and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients, colleagues, and the community. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential, particularly in emergency situations. Knowledge of nursing principles, medical equipment, and safety protocols is crucial. Proficiency in record-keeping, report writing, and correspondence is also required.
