Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. As a Pediatric Primary Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing a collaborative care model of behavioral health in our pediatric clinic. You will work closely with healthcare providers to address behavioral health issues and social determinants of health, and implement the core components of health and mental health care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct screening, crisis interventions, diagnostic evaluations, and individual and group psychotherapy in collaboration with primary care providers and social workers.
- Provide mental health interventions in the primary care setting with a behavioral health and developmental focus, including providing feedback to medical providers on medication efficacy.
- Offer crucial support for families, such as facilitating access to community resources, acting as a liaison with schools, and ensuring effective linkage to services.
- Conduct team-based well-child visits before, during, or following the primary care provider visits focusing on monitoring development, social-emotional functioning, and relational health, and providing anticipatory guidance.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team alongside pediatricians, pediatric residents, psychology interns, social workers, community health workers, and health educators.
- Valid license and current registration to practice as a Psychologist issued by the NYSED.
- Two (2) years of post-licensure experience, one (1) year of which must have been post-licensure supervisory experience; or three (3) years of post-licensure experience.
- Completion of the NYC Health + Hospitals Supervisory training within three (3) months of appointment.

In addition to base compensation, you will receive $4,855 annually if you are currently registered and possess a New York State license to practice as a psychologist.
