Welder Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Consolidated Equipment Group. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components for our piling equipment and accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld metal components according to drawings and specifications.
• Perform welding tasks with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality results.
• Set up and operate various equipment, including burning, grinding, sawing, tapping, and drilling machines.
• Deburr parts after welding and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Operate overhead cranes and fork trucks safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in quality control and safety procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist other crew members or shop personnel as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of welding experience preferred.
• AWS D1.1 Certification a plus.
• Ability to pass a preliminary weld test.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
