Position Overview:
A client located in Santa Clara is looking for a dedicated and empathetic internal medicine physician to become part of a cooperative, outpatient interdisciplinary team. All experience levels are encouraged to apply. Candidates should prioritize evidence-based medical practices and be adept at treating patients of all ages. This position requires collaboration with fellow staff members and oversight of mid-level providers and nursing personnel.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid CA medical license as an MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Board certification in primary care
- CA DEA certificate prior to commencement
- Current CPR certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct primary care and outpatient services to clinic patients
- Conduct in-service training for clinic staff to enhance awareness and improve patient care
- Engage in the formulation of clinic protocols and procedures to guarantee high-quality medical services
- Participate in utilization and peer review initiatives to assess the quality of medical staff and services at the clinics
- Supervise and provide consultation to physician assistants and nurse practitioners
- Offer consultation services to practitioners via telephone as needed
