- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college, executive secretarial, or business courses strongly preferred.
- Experience: One year of experience in a busy, complex medical office or equivalent required.
- Skills: Thorough working knowledge of health insurance issues and coverage, medical terminology, typing, and general secretarial skills required. Computer experience, including Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PtCt, is also necessary.
