  • Inpatient Support: Utilize Neurohospitalist services
  • Patient Volume: See a manageable number of patients daily
  • New Patient Visits: Currently experiencing a 3-4 month backlog
  • Electronic Medical Records: Athena system in use
  • On-Site Laboratory: Available for patient testing
  • Office Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Transition Opportunity: Step into an established practice due to physician retirement
  • Support Staff: Experienced and seasoned team
  • Collaboration: Strong relationships with Neurohospitalist team
  • Referral Network: Robust primary care network referring to the practice

Neurohospitalist Role

This position is also hospital-employed and includes the following features:

  • Continuing Medical Education: 5 days with a budget of $5,000

  • EEG Training: Preferred for candidates

  • Work Schedule: 70/7O rotation
  • Electronic Medical Records: Cerner system in use
  • Patient Volume: Manageable daily patient load
  • Teleneurology Services: No requirement to respond to strokes in the ER
  • Flexible Work Schedule: Flexibility among team members
  • Consultation Support: Hospital has all specialists on staff for consults
  • Nursing Staff: Well-trained and responsive nursing team
