Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a local contract job in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students who require additional support to succeed in the classroom. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans, providing instruction and support to students, and collaborating with other educators to ensure student success.

Job Details:

  • $38.50 – $41.50 per hour
  • Hours: full-time
  • Multicategorical/Crosscategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications may be accepted

Program/Caseload Information:

  • Special education teachers needed in early childhood, elementary, middle, high, and alternative schools throughout the district
  • Could be a combination of co-teach and pull-out services
  • Could be low incidence/autism self-contained classroom
  • Could be a behavior support specialist

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university related area
  • Teaching Certification with Schools Special Education Endorsement
  • Special Education Teaching Endorsement must meet position requirements
  • Multicategorical/Crosscategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications may be accepted
