Housekeeper Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper Specialist to join our team at Corewell Health. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, families, and visitors.

The Housekeeper Specialist will be responsible for performing basic cleaning tasks, sanitizing all surfaces, and ensuring a high level of cleanliness throughout the hospital. This includes cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, and ancillary areas such as nurses' stations and med rooms.

• Cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, including spot washing walls and windows
• Removing trash and linen, and delivering clean linen as required
• Dusting, vacuuming, and damp mopping floors
• Stocking supplies and completing miscellaneous tasks as assigned

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This full-time position is based at Taylor Hospital, 10000 Telegraph Road, Taylor, MI. The shift hours are from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with every other weekend rotation.

The estimated salary for this role is between $15.47 and $18.32 per hour, depending on experience.
