Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in estimating within the insurance restoration sector, including but not limited to:
    • Water damage restoration
    • Fire damage recovery
    • Mold removal
    • Asbestos management
    • Lead remediation
    • Post-reconstruction assessment
  • Preferred IICRC certifications
  • Proficient in Xactimate, Microsoft Office, restoration project management software, and insurance claims processing
  • Adjusting budgets based on actual project costs
  • Alerting the Operations Manager of potential budget, profit margin, or scheduling issues
  • Creating project schedules and coordinating with subcontractors or in-house teams to fulfill the Scope of Work
  • Providing support and guidance to Project Supervisors while managing subcontractor proposals
  • Assessing the need for Change Orders for clients and subcontractors
  • Preparing necessary reports and documentation for the Operations Manager and corporate office, including permit arrangements
  • Collaborating with Project Supervisors and lead carpenters to address any emerging issues
  • Maintaining accurate job activity records and site inventories
  • Adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulations set forth by Royal Plus, as well as state and federal guidelines
  • Willingness to assist with various tasks as priorities shift
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record and reliable transportation
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with industry standards and practices
  • Understanding of budgeting and cost management
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Maintain high professional standards in interactions with clients, subcontractors, and team members
  • Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects the values and interests of Royal Plus

Physical Demands:

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in various physical positions, including standing, sitting, walking, and climbing
  • Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and at heights
  • Ability to work in environments with fumes or airborne particles, with safety training provided
  • Safe operation of a company vehicle for travel to job sites
