Job Summary:
The National Medical Association is seeking a highly skilled Physician - Home Based Primary Care Medical Director to lead our Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) program. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical direction of our HBPC program, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Medical Direction: Provide medical leadership and oversight to our HBPC physicians, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and adhere to our program's policies and procedures.
- Program Development: Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, increase program efficiency, and enhance our reputation as a leader in home-based primary care.
- Staff Management: Supervise and mentor our HBPC physicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their full potential.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between our HBPC program and other departments within the organization, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and program outcomes.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree: Possess a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification: Be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with a strong background in geriatric medicine.
- Leadership Experience: Have a proven track record of leadership experience in a medical director role, with a focus on home-based primary care.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
