Position Overview

Role: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Columbus, GA

Shift Information:

  • Type: Day Shift (3x12 Hours)
  • Working Hours: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Scheduling Details:

  • Maximum Requested Time Off: 7 days
  • On-Call Requirements: 7-10 days per month, including weekends
  • Weekend Duties: Every other weekend
  • Uniforms: Provided by the facility

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience is essential
  • Facility welcomes first-time travelers

Patient Demographics:

  • Includes a diverse range from Pediatrics to Geriatrics
  • Types of Cases Handled: Orthopedic, Trauma, ENT, General Surgery, Robotic, Neurological, Pediatric Dental, Pain Management, Thoracic, Vascular, and Organ Harvesting

Technological Systems Utilized:

  • Da Vinci XI and SI Surgical Systems

Essential Skills:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience with surgical and emergency carts
  • Proficient in scrub and aseptic techniques
  • Skilled in various surgical procedures, including:
    • Abdominal and Vaginal Hysterectomy
    • Bilateral Tubal Ligation
    • Laparoscopic and Robotic Gynecological Procedures
