We are seeking a highly skilled Stroke Physician Assistant to join our team at Britt Medical Search.
Job Description:- Treating ICU and surgical patients, attending emergent Stroke codes and floor patients.
- Responding to stroke codes during daytime hours to provide emergent care for suspected stroke patients.
- Reading neuro imaging including CT scans, MRI scans, and interpreting necessary lab works.
Licensure, Education, Certifications, and Clearances:
PAs:
• Graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by ARC-PA required.
• BS or MS candidate preferred.
• Experience as a physician assistant and/or experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Current state PA license certified by NCCPA required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Act 34 Clearance required.
CRNPs:
• Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program required.
• BSN, MSN preferred.
• Professional nursing experience and/or nurse practitioner experience preferred.
• Current state RN license and CRNP certification required.
• National certification, eligible for licensure by Pennsylvania board of nursing, eligible for certification as a CRNP by Pennsylvania state board of nursing
• Current CPR certification required.
• Act 34 Clearance required.
