Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of project managers and engineers to achieve project objectives, provide guidance and support, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and ensure that Petrosmith's services meet their expectations.
  • Commercial and Technical Management: Oversee project commercial and technical aspects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Change Management: Coordinate and evaluate requests for changes, prepare and approve change orders, and ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular project reports, including financial reports, to senior management and stakeholders, and analyze project data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and work closely with the sales team to secure new projects and grow Petrosmith's business.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
  • Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent experience in project management.
