Job Overview

SDAC is seeking a skilled Rail Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will work under supervision to perform a variety of strenuous tasks, including digging, excavating, and backfilling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging, excavating, and backfilling
  • Keep project areas clean and organized
  • Build and strip forms
  • Perform light repairs using power tools
  • Assist with minor maintenance and repairs
  • Meet or exceed company safety standards

Requirements:

  • 1 year of general labor experience (preferred)
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • High school graduate or GED (preferred)
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license and acceptable MVR
  • Ability to lift 25-30 pounds
  • Familiarity with 12-pound hammer, hydraulic tools, and air tools

Working Conditions:

  • Continuous exposure to extreme heat, noise, and working outdoors
  • Must wear protective equipment while at job sites
