Mixology Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Mixologist to join our team at LR Palm House LLC. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing a memorable bar experience, and ensuring a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cocktail Creation: Develop unique and seasonal cocktail recipes using fresh ingredients, high-quality spirits, and innovative techniques.
2. Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and presentation meet our high standards.
3. Customer Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and sharing knowledge about the drink menu.
4. Menu Design: Collaborate with our bar and restaurant management to create and update drink menus, considering current trends and customer preferences.
5. Bar Maintenance: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked, maintaining high levels of hygiene and safety.
6. Inventory Management: Track and manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, restocking ingredients, and controlling waste.
7. Training and Development: Assist in training junior staff on cocktail preparation, bartending techniques, and bar etiquette.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including serving alcohol responsibly and checking IDs as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a high-end or fast-paced environment.
2. Excellent knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail-making techniques.
3. Creativity and passion for crafting innovative beverages.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with grace.
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
7. Knowledge of health and safety standards for food and beverages.
8. Certification in responsible alcohol service.
