Job Overview

Loyalty Automotive is seeking a skilled Car Sales Representative to join our team in Petersburg. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers, promoting our vehicles, and ensuring their satisfaction.

Estimated Salary Range

$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact between customers and the dealership, providing excellent customer service and creating a positive buying experience.
  • Demonstrate features and options on all vehicles in inventory, highlighting the benefits and value of each model.
  • Answer basic questions about financing and other optional financial products, helping customers make informed decisions.
  • Promote the company's service and finance department with buyers, ensuring customer loyalty and retention.
  • Perform vehicle delivery for buyers after a purchase has been completed, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction process.
  • Routinely follow up with buyers to ensure continued satisfaction and gather feedback for improvement.
  • Cold call prospective buyers to generate new business when necessary, leveraging your sales skills and knowledge of the automotive industry.
Requirements
  • Professional appearance and attitude, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Excellent persuasive verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Time management skills and willingness to take the initiative, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and technical aspects of vehicles and ownership, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Good knowledge of financing and basic mathematics skills, able to calculate loan payments and interest rates.
  • 3-5 years of previous sales or customer service experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Prior automotive sales experience and specific training with Toyota products are a plus, but not required.
