Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold their breath or remain still
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • CT and X-ray experience
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
  • EPIC experience
Work Environment

CentraCare Health - Monticello is a critical access hospital with a busy ER and a newly remodeled radiology department. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - CT Technologist, you will work primarily alone and be responsible for operating a variety of imaging equipment, including GE CT and PACS, Canon x-ray room, and Shimadzu Rad/Fluoro room.

Schedule

The schedule for this position will be a mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts, 3-5 times per week, with weekends included. The exact schedule will be determined based on the needs of the department and may include evening and night shifts.
