About the Role

The Maintenance Mechanic role at the South Beloit location provides support to the Production Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining all production equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and training other team members on equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of all production equipment, including repair and replacement as needed
  • Performing preventative maintenance as scheduled to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Training other team members on equipment operation and maintenance procedures
  • Completing purchase requisitions as needed for parts, equipment, and tools
  • Informing Operators, Line Leads, and Supervisors of any Food Safety or Food Quality concerns or non-compliant processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant industrial or maintenance experience
  • Understanding of scale operations, weights, and measurements
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, codes, and regulations
  • Basic understanding of math and ability to use and operate all tools and machinery required for maintenance responsibilities
