Adjunct Faculty Pool

College of the Sequoias is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time adjunct faculty pool to teach Culinary Arts within the Consumer Family Studies Department. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive classroom instruction to community college students, with a focus on delivering high-quality learning experiences.

• Teach Culinary Arts courses, including weekend and evening classes, at the Visalia Campus, Hanford Educational Center, or Tulare College Center.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the college's curriculum and learning objectives.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
• Collect and submit data on student learning objectives as needed.

• Master's degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
• Teaching experience in a community college setting.
• Ability to teach face-to-face classes.
• Equity-minded and committed to serving students from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
• Knowledge of culinary industry trends and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
