Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities- Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patients/families to identify and meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
- One year experience preferred
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
The Emergency Department at St. Anthony North Hospital is a Level III trauma, stroke, and STEMI certified emergency department, seeing neonatal through geriatric populations. Our nurse-to-patient ratio can vary, but we strive for 4:1. Our team effectively works together on processes and initiatives that increase employee satisfaction and facilitate close relationships between staff and providers.
