Job SummaryWe are seeking a licensed clinical mental health provider to join our team as a telehealth psychologist. As a remote psychologist, you will work with veterans living in Washington state via telehealth, providing mental health support and making a real difference in healthcare for veterans.
Responsibilities- Complete 25 billable direct-service hours per week, remotely.
- Provide evidenced-based practices to treat mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and trauma.
- Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport with clients throughout the course of treatment.
- Create individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances.
- Meet with clients on a routine, weekly cadence in accordance with the authorization or renewal.
- Maintain scheduling, rescheduling, and on-going communication with clients with the support of the administrative team.
- Report monthly progress summaries to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) to document all clients progress (including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries) in a timely, organized manner.
- Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality as determined by State regulations.
- Conduct audit reviews.
- Must have strong computer skills to navigate, troubleshoot, and manage cases in EHR.
- Works collaboratively with the team to enhance best clinical practices.
- Experience working with veterans and the VHA.
- Able to utilize one or more evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, EMDR).
- Fully knowledgeable of DSM-5.
- Knowledgeable in EHR settings to provide clients with basic troubleshooting assistance as necessary.
